Pardon me?

Face it, we are all guilty of it getting in a hurry and going through a day without recognizing or acknowledging anyone. We all thing for some reason if we slow down something will pass us by. Well, I have a secret for you......Slow down, life is not going to change speeds. You have the samw amount of time on this earth weather you are always in a hurry or if you slow down to see what is going on.

If you are someone in a leadership position, you better value the people around you. If you do not value or appreciate them, they are not going to be loyal to you nor are they going to work hard for you. People love to get a good old pat on the back. So, when you walk by someone that you work with everytime you pass, tell them hello and give them a big smile. I promise if you will mend your relationships, everyone around you will be more productivity. You will be amazed at how a simple hello while you look them directly in the eyes will take you.

As we end today lets listen to Maya Angelo and what she says about relationships:" People will forget what what you said , people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." How did you make the last person you were around feel. Think about it? Whether you are a business owner, a supervisor, or an educational leader, the fast way to fail is to make your people feel inferior. Go pit from now on and let people know they are appreciated. Nothing Comes For Free

We are living in a day in time when we think we are owed an easy way to everything. We think that whatever we want and desire should be right at our fingertips. I have to admit, I was one of those people. My life was going along pretty good and then suddenly the economy got a little crazy and I was left to start over. I was introduced to a great new way to make money and one I think is great for anyone called Network marketing. My dreams had come true, EASY money! Much to my dismay things did not work out like I thought they were suppose to. What did I do wrong? I went to meetings and did what I thought the leaders were doing. Then finally after a year of failing, I figured it out......anything worth having in life does not come without some WORK.

For a whole year I sat and moped thinking this stuff is suppose to sell itself. I was not putting the work into it I needed to make it work. I was looking for everyway in the world to make things easy, but did not put in the elbow grease needed. Aside from that there was one thing really holding me back. You see, I am a pretty easy going fellow and easy to get along with. I am also a very big guy that you would not think is scared of anything, but I am. I was deathly afraid of one word............NO! It would stop my 6'5" frame in its tracks and send me under a rock. Guess what, the word NO will not hurt you. At the point you hear that word, you should just role your sleeves up and work harder and make sure you have a very strong WHY? My why are the two little gifts that God gave me called my children. No matter how much I depise the word no, I cannot let that stop my dreams because my kids deserve it. 

Network Marketing is a great way to start part time making some extra money that can balloon into full time money. How many other businesses can you start for under $1,000 with no overhead such as employees and then leverage into money that can make your dreams come true. I would tell  you to study the business you are looking into instead of just jumping on something that promises to be great. Make sure you will be passionate about the business opportunity you are promoting. It is going to take some work and it will not happen overnight. You must WORK to make it work for you. This business is for everyone and is becoming accepted by many professionals today. They are even teaching network marketing classes in major university business schools today. That is how viable this business model is. Donald Trump has even been quoted as saying if he had to start all over again that network marketing would be his tool to start with, heck he has even started a network marketing company.

If you chose to come into the industry my advice to you is to find the one or two marketing methods that interest you the most and focus on them, but remember one thing, this thing is about relationships. If you do not pay attention to relationships, it may be doomed to fail. This industry is about helping one another become better and fulfill your dreams. To me that is a HUGE attraction to this industry, the teamwork factor. You can listen to all the Guru's, buy this traffic program or that one, but in the end you are gonna have to WORK hard and be positive to make it happen. Remember, as Jim Rohn tells us, In order for change to happen, you must first change. I hope for your ultimate success and life lasting happiness. God Bless you and yours!

Let someone know you are thinking of them!

In this hustle and bustle world we live in today, do we ever stop just to let someone know we are thinking of them? Do we think of someone from our past who meant so much of them and just call them to tell them, hey I miss you? I know that I have been guilty of all of the above in the past. I had a life changing event that made me stop and think about my personal relationships and how I should cherish them more and not take them for granted.

So, I now challenge you to at least once a day just call a friend and say, " Hey, I am happy to have you in my life." Do not stop there, go to relationships of the past that you really enjoyed and miss now and let that person know how much you miss having them in your life. The bottom line is this, we are not promised tomorrow and in the end all we really have in life are our personal relationships. Now, go out and cultivate these relationships like they were a garden. Pay attention to this garden of relationships because you shall reap what you sow.
